“One Piece: The Will of D is an RPG where players have to guide Luffy and his whole team in their quest for the mythical treasure of One Piece, a mission for which they’ll have to cross the seas, traverse dozens of islands, and face off against hundreds of enemies.
Gameplay in One Piece: The Will of D is very simple: players have to kit out different characters in their group with all sorts of weapons and protective gear so that when it comes time to do battle they have a greater chance of winning. That said, during the battles you can’t directly control your characters but only see them fighting.
In any case, the best things about One Piece: The Will of D aren’t so much the combat system or the character management (all of them are there: Nami, Zoro, Sanji, Tony Tony Chopper…) as the story development and the abilities you’ll have to visit any place you want. In addition, the game’s graphics are highly reminiscent of those from the anime series.
One Piece: The Will of D is an RPG with very simple gameplay that nevertheless should be highly entertaining for anime lovers owing to all of its references and material taken directly from the anime series.
